When you apply to register a Swiss trademark, the Swiss Institute does not search for already registered identical or similar trademarks. Swissberg therefore strongly recommends that you have a search for prior trademark rights carried out; we will assist you in finding a quick and cost efficient solution.

Consequent trademark monitoring and prosecution will prevent your trademark from dilution.

The sooner one intervenes in case of a conflict the better are the chances of an amicable solution and the less are the costs involved.

Which of your trademarks are of prime importance for your business?
What is the core business (which goods or services) of your company?
Have you had conflicts in the past? How do you react in case of a conflict?
Would you prefer reacting quickly in case of a conflict?
In which countries is your company already active?
Which markets would you like to monitor?
Which trademarks and in which countries will it disturb you if a third party will register and/or use your trademark for identical or similar goods?
